Analytics and cookies

Loop Resume AI can measure how the product is used so we can fix what is confusing and build what people need. This is optional and off until you say yes. This page explains exactly what that means. Our privacy policy covers everything else we do with your data.

What we collect if you accept

Which pages you open (the page path only, never the part of the address after a question mark, which can contain private links).
A short list of actions: creating an account, finishing onboarding, creating a resume, using an AI feature, running an ATS check, exporting a resume (and its format), publishing a resume, starting or finishing a mock interview or practice question (never what you said), and starting or completing a checkout (and which plan).
Basic technical details PostHog adds automatically, such as browser, operating system and screen size. Like any web service, PostHog also receives your IP address with each request and may derive an approximate location from it.
An identifier: your internal account ID when you are signed in, or a random anonymous ID stored in your browser's local storage when you are not.

What we never send

Your resume or cover letter content, job descriptions, your name, your email address, your password, or anything you type. We do not record your screen or sessions and we do not capture clicks or keystrokes automatically.

Consent and your choices

Nothing is sent to our analytics provider, and its code is not even loaded, unless you press Accept. Declining or ignoring the notice keeps analytics off. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal we treat it as a no and do not ask.

You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings button on this page or in Settings. Choosing Decline stops all further collection and clears the identifier from your browser. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage on this device only.

Who processes it

Analytics is processed for us by PostHog. By default we use PostHog's EU cloud region, so events are received and stored in the European Union. If we change region or provider we will update this page.
